What I love about photography is the ability to freeze a special moment in time.  I love looking back at old photos, at the old black and whites of my parents when they were dating, prints from my childhood, of special times with my grandmothers, funny photos of my little brother and I in costumes, embarrassing photos from school and college with the big 80s hair (yes, I am that old), my wedding, my babies' first steps, or first day at Kindergarten, their toothless grins, their achievements. 

My most precious possessions are the photos I have all over my home.

My family are my inspiration. They can make me cry with pride, laugh until it hurts, wonder at their innocence, love with a passion, and even drive me crazy sometimes! Our kids change so quickly ... the little ones they once were no longer exist, the relationships have evolved, changed, and developed over the years, and they literally become different people right before our eyes!

I have been fortunate to capture so many amazing photos of my own family over the years ... their little faces smiling and dirty, their sweet butterfly kisses, their snuggles, the adolescent awkwardness and their boy-man lopsided grins. Just looking back at all these treasures evokes such deep emotions in me that is takes me back to a different time... I wish I could wrap up these memories and the emotions and keep them forever. Capturing the special moments in our lives is magical.  That is what drives my passion for photography, and I get so much joy in doing the same for you!
