My Story
Hi, I am Claire , the person behind the camera, wife, mother, photographer. Lover of sunshine, adventure, travel, curling up on the couch in my pjs with a good book or movie. I am a breast cancer survivor and a fighter.
I am my happiest when I am with my family... my wonderful husband and two amazing, almost grown sons... who make me want to be the best I can be every single day....and of course, when I have my camera in my hands!
Originally from Wales, I came to the US over 20 years ago. I really didn't plan to stay... but I fell in love with Florida, the "States", the lifestyle, and of course in love with my man.
We are a retired Coast Guard family and have been fortunate enough to live in several different parts of this wonderful country. We have done so many fun things, traveled a lot, seen so many amazing places, and met so many incredible people.
Before I was a photographer I was an Occupational Therapist. As our circumstances changed I found myself living in Hawaii with two very young kids, and I was drawn again to my love of photography. I had the cutest little subjects and the most perfect backdrops. It was a great place to take my hobby to the next level. And I have been doing this full-time now since 2006.
My amazing journey has molded me, both as a person and as a photographer. I bring with me my experience as a mother, of babies and toddlers and now teenagers and young adults, as an Occupational Therapist working with kids and adults with disabilities and special needs and as a wanderer - there are so many amazing places and people in this world that I can't wait to see...and photograph ;-).
